My name is Gerald Hairston III, and I am from Roselle, NJ. I graduated from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and currently attend Delaware State University’s Master’s in Applied Optics program. My current research focuses on Laser Heterodyne Radiometry(LHR) for atmospheric sensing applications. I aim to continue building a foundation of knowledge in optics so that I can contribute to the advancement of atmospheric and remote sensing technologies.
