Physics
Growing up in the Hudson Valley, New York, I always had a fascination with the stars. This interest led me to Villanova University where I obtained my B.S. in astronomy and astrophysics. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Delaware. My research is in stellar astrophysics focusing on close binary stars, specifically cataclysmic variables. I use computer models to study the long term evolution of cataclysmic variables in hope of shedding light on the birth, life and death of these fascinating objects.
This is Conor’s second year as a Delaware Space Grant Graduate Fellow.
